Whilst spending some time in Southeast Asia, we found inspiration in the traditional two-gang rocker light switch often found in homes of the early 80s. This lead us to a simple design solution: two planes angled in opposing directions, forming a sculptural object that enables users to separate their daily goods. Engineered to be efficiently fabricated out of two timber planes and a mitred border, each tray speaks to the principles of craft and functional simplicity. The object is designed to integrate with the hotel's stationery or adapt to a residential context.

We partnered with fine furniture makers, Roger & Sons, to utilise locally sourced timber and establish a production process that would allow for scale, while making room for accuracy down to the finest detail. The resulting object is intricately finished while being built to age gracefully with the wear and tear of daily use.
